Welcome to The RV Page!  I am building a Van's RV 6A, an all alluminum sport plane that is fully aerobatic, high performance, and most of all, Fun!  This plane comes in kit form that requires considerable dedication by the builder.

Some of the reasons I give when people think I am crazy to build my own airplane instead of buying a Cessna 172:

•     This plane is faster.  To see how fast, see the specs.
•     This plane will look much cooler! (This is how cool)
•     This plane is fully aerobatic!
•     This plane will be brand new, not 20 years old!

Now, some of the reasons that I put this website together:

• I have had to learn most of this on my own, without pictures, so I hope this can help someone after me.
• I like to show off the wonderful design, by Vansaircraft, Inc.
• I want to help influence others as I have been by the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA)
• For any answers you cannot find here, you can find them on Sam Buchanan's website!

I Think I Have Found My Navigator/CoPilot!  She really likes the Becki Orndorff Seats!
