Saturday, 10/9/99:

Ok...last night was great.  After the days festivities, there was an unofficial dinner at Cosmos Italian resturaunt.  About 50 RV builders, flyers, and wishers showed up, as well as Scott McDaniels, and Bill Benedict.

Ahh...ONE of the many rows of RV's...today the count was ~34~ at around 12:00.  I am assuming that is the most accurate, as that is the peak during the weekend.

Hey, a celebrity was spotted!  If you don't know this guy, you aint building an RV.. Ok, well the photo isn't that great...its Mr. RV video personality, George Orndorff.  If you still don't know him, get to know him, and his website, http://www.fly-gbi.com  George and Becki provide a great service to the RV communitity, with everything from builders videos, tools, supplies, and custom interior.

That's me sporting a new RV Grin...got my first RV ride...thanks to Scott McDaniels...all I can say is, WOW!!!  I figured I would go in the -8 since I will have pleny of opportunities to go in a 6A.  N197AB, that is!

I had to borrow this for a minute to shoot down some fiberglass airplanes...this B17 has over 2 Million rivets in it...I think an RV has a few thousand if I remember correctly...

Oh yeah..here is my first airplane...I had somone bring it to the show for me...he's taking care of it while the RV is being built.....

I posted this for a "friend" who wanted to buy this Glasair...no, I have not crossed over to the dark side.
